Well, this next bit is sort of food porn (heh). Along with the cake, we were served these long life buns, which my eldest sister told me the proper name of, but I’ve now forgotten (peach something…?). They had lotus bean paste in them (I liked them, I like buns with mung bean paste and red bean paste too). The minute I laid eyes on them I thought of them as “boobie buns”. I couldn’t stop myself smiling when I saw them.
