Two scoops

For dessert after our Japanese dinner, Jac had two scoops of ice cream at Baskin Robbins. She had “Love Potion #31”, which consists of white chocolate and raspberry ice cream swirled with a raspberry ribbon and loaded with raspberry filled heart-shaped chocolate pieces and chocolate chips (this is seriously decadent ice cream!), and “Olympecan”, which is caramel-flavoured ice cream swirled with real, soft and oozy caramel (so soft and oozy it left sticky caramel trails everywhere!) and pecans. I did have a taste of both – very nice. Love Potion #31 was a little too sweet for my liking (though I was very impressed with the heart-shaped chocolates with raspberry filling), but I really loved the soft caramel that was all through the Olympecan.

Ice cream!

This weekend Jac will play her first hockey match of the season on Saturday, and I plan to add more books to my LibraryThing catalogue, which is up to 424 books. Jac says she plans to make moussaka (yay, more eggplant!). I also hope squeeze in more work on my current thesis chapter, and maybe do some tutoring prep. There will be a council kerbside collection coming up, and so we’ll be using a trolley to wheel the old stove out to our front verge, ready for pick-up. We’ve nothing very exciting planned, really.
