Good old minchee

Last week, when I was feeling tired and grumpy, Jac knew exactly what would cheer me up. Minchee and rice (SPAM, egg and rice would have also worked). She served the minchee and rice with a vegetable stir-fry made with a Mama Sita stir-fry mix. Mmmm, it was good.

Another junky post

On Monday I had a five hour+ exam to supervise in the afternoon, and so Jac picked me up from uni after her hockey training. We were both exhausted from our respective long days (me, tired from the previous week too) and decided to just grab some takeaway from Charcoal Chicken for dinner. Jac had […]

Rich in bunly goodness

I’ve been too busy (day) and too tired (night) to post. But here’s a little something to keep you going until the exams are over and I get time and energy back. My boobie buns have been featured in Bob Liu’s* Flickr mosaic of birthday bun photos! Check it out here. Some of the buns […]

Saturday, Part 2

The play we took Savannah to yesterday was written and directed by my PhD supervisor and performed by university drama students. It was good fun and very colourful. We were well-stocked with munchies – we’d each selected one item from Coles: chewy lollies (Savannah), Crunch chocolate bar (Jac) and Pringles original flavour (me, of cours…

Saturday, Part 1

We were out for most of yesterday. It was so nice to spend the day doing stuff with Jac, rather than sitting in my study alone working, as I often do. In the morning, we went to the shops so that I could check my PO Box for a special delivery I was expecting. I […]
