EDIT: You know how I mentioned Jac threw in the red chillis that had been sitting in soy sauce? Well, she actually marinated the chicken pieces in that for a little while before cooking – and then the whole lot, chicken and chilli marinade was used in the stir-fry.
I’ve just eaten my dinner: rice noodles stir-fried with chicken and vegetables (snowpeas, green beans and mushrooms). Jac also threw in some sliced red chilli she’s been marinating in soy sauce in a container in the fridge. That chilli definitely added a kick to the dish – my nose has only just stopped running! Well, I am a spicy-food wimp. Jac flavoured the stir-fry with some pad thai sauce out of a jar, and it was really tasty. I’m now going to make some custard, which will be part of something we’ll be serving tomorrow when my sister and her boyfriend come over. You’ll just have to wait and see what it is. Heheh.
