Friday night home delivery Chinese

Ever since we had the squid with spice and pepper with Juji and Jay recently, Jac hasn’t been able to stop thinking about eating it again. And since it was her pay day on Friday she decided it was a pretty good time to get some of that squid. The photo really doesn’t do it justice. The squid inside the batter is tender and soft, and the bits of fried garlic, onion and chilli are just delicious. We absolutely wolfed this dish down. Jac really was in heaven.

I ordered a serve of curry puffs, which I would actually call samosas. I love curry wrapped in pastry.

We of course got a serve of special fried rice.

And of course, a token vegetable dish of broccoli with oyster sauce. We stirred the thick brown sauce through the broccoli before eating.

I love the sang choy bow and ordered it with chicken mince this time. You have the choice of chicken or pork mince. I think both are great.

This is a new dish we hadn’t tried before: tofu with Chinese roast pork. I loved it – tofu, lots of roast pork and vegetables in a tasty garlicky sauce. It was really good, I’ll be happy to have it again.
