Having read one of my Ellen Hart mystery novels called “Dial M for Meatloaf”, Jac was in a meatloaf kind of mood for tonight’s dinner. She didn’t use any of the recipes in the back of the book, but used them as her inspiration to create a delicious meatloaf with two different kinds of mince meat, whole boiled eggs in the middle, with a glaze of tomato ketchup. It was moist and meaty and yummy. You know, until this evening I’d eaten meatloaf before but never meatloaf with the boiled egg in the middle! I’ve seen it in books, TV and movies but never eaten it myself. I thought I’d really like it as I love hard boiled eggs, and I was right. The glaze makes this photo look kind of gory though, doesn’t it? Yep, I ate two slices. Can’t wait to eat the leftovers tomorrow.
Now time for some discussion. I’m thinking about giving the site an overhaul one of these days. What would you like to see more/less of on the site? I can’t promise I will do everything that is suggested/requested but I will take your comments into consideration. I know one thing most people would like is more postings during the week, rather than the bulk postings on weekends. Believe me, I’d love that too – time just doesn’t permit that at present. I’m interested to know what you’d like to read about though – would you prefer me to stick to telling you about the food photos, or are you interested in other personal things too? Anyway – suggestions/feedback in the comments. Feel free.
