Last night’s dinner: spaghetti bolognaise with wholemeal linguini. Jac made the bolognaise according to how I used to make it for myself: mince, garlic, onions, sliced tinned champignons, chopped fresh tomatoes, tomato paste and tomato ketchup (not a lot of ketchup, just a little – yes, I’m sure some of you are horrified!). No herbs whatsoever, no hidden vegetables in the sauce. Just a red, meaty, tomatoey sauce. Yum.
Never fear, I did eat vegies though – Jac made me a salad, and I ate all of it!
