Simple pleasures: Indomie Mi Goreng with a Chinese omelette

This is one of my all-time favourite simple pleasures and comfort meals: Indomie Mi Goreng with a Chinese omelette. I break the egg into a bowl and beat it with a fork, with a drizzle of soy sauce and a sprinkling of white pepper, then pour it into a hot frying pan (I love the sizzle sound as the egg hits the hot pan!) and cook it to golden-brown. I think it’s great that you can buy Indomie at many supermarkets now, not just asian shops, but I still buy Indomie from asian shops, because I buy mine by the carton! A carton of 40 packets works out cheaper than buying them per packet or per 5-pack, and you can enjoy the feeling that comes with bulk-buying – the contentment from knowing that you now have an abundant supply of a beloved food product (in this case, Indomie) in your house!

This will be my last post until we reach our holiday destination (sometime tomorrow) and get settled in. As long as my research proves correct and connecting to the Internet is not a problem, I will continue posting as normal while I’m away. Fingers crossed, eh?
