A bun and a sandwich
During the week leading up to Easter, I had a buttered toasted hot cross bun for breakfast. Jac toasted the buns under the grill so that they were slightly crisp on the outside but soft on the inside and still quite chewy, just how I like them. See the hint of something (white with reddish writing) in the background behind the bun? Can you guess what it is? :)
For lunch, I had a toasted sandwich made with multigrain bread filled with leftover sliced Nando’s chicken tenderloin, fresh tomato, swiss cheese and mayonnaise. This was a very good way to eat the Nando’s, I must say!
