Another sandwich bento! Our sandwiches, left to right:

• leftover salmon pattie, lettuce and tartare
• oven-roasted eggplant, sweet potato, chutney and mayo
• curried egg and lettuce
• english ham, cucumber, french mustard.

In Jac’s bento note, I labeled the roasted eggplant, sweet potato, chutney and mayo “highly experimental” – I didn’t know how successful it would be as a sandwich. But as it turned out, Jac said this was her favourite of the lot! I liked the curried egg sandwich the best, myself.

I drew the little blue birdy a touch plumper than normal, to match the thicker-than-usual bread I used for our sandwiches.
