Workmate L at my now ex-job brought in blueberry muffins to celebrate her birthday. We all enjoyed them for morning tea.

L was very apologetic because she’d used a packet mix to make these muffins. She did say she’d chosen this brand because it’s always loaded with blueberries (sorry, I didn’t ask her what brand it was). There were no complaints from the rest of us – we weren’t at all fussed that these were packet muffins. Sure, muffins homemade from scratch may have been nicer, but we all sipped our coffee and tea and munched happily on our blueberry muffins. In general, office people never knock back free food. In fact, we welcome MORE free food! More, more, please! :) I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: One of the best things about working in an office is all the morning / afternoon teas. And one of the worst things about working in an office is all the morning / afternoon teas.
