An express salad combo from Sumo Salad – we each chose a salad. My choice was the chicken and penne pasta salad with sundried tomatoes; Jac chose her favourite, the falafel salad, with cous cous, pumpkin and cos lettuce.

A chunky chicken satay from Spices. The chicken chunks have been seasoned with vaguely satay-esque spices, lightly battered and fried. I ate this just as it was (peanut sauce was available, but I didn’t feel like it) and rather enjoyed the light coating of batter on the tender chicken. It left my lips greasy and definitely tasted unhealthy!
