Another marking weekend
This will be my second-last marking weekend (30 x 2,000 word essays, with two more coming in on Monday) for the semester. The next and final marking weekend (coming up in a fortnight’s time) will feature the marking of exam papers. I can’t wait till I am finished with all the marking and have submitted the final grades – teaching will be officially over for another semester. The bad part about being finished is that I will be a little poorer, but I am really looking forward to being able to focus fully on my PhD again. Teaching is time-consuming and energy-sapping; I have a little catching up to do.
As usual, the timing of workload/fun events sucks. The West Australian Wine and Food Festival is on this weekend, but surprise surprise I don’t think I will have the time to go. Oh well (yeah yeah just having a whinge. Sometimes you just need to share whingey moments).
Here’s the last food pic I have to post for now. My curry chicken, curry vegetables and rice lunch at uni on Friday. I love this chicken curry and eat it almost every week!
It’s 12:45am and time for bed.
