Been caught sleeping

Last night’s dinner was rice with satay chicken (using Yeo’s satay sauce in a jar) and stir-fried savoy cabbage (made with Mama Sita’s Stir-fry sauce packet mix). I love the texture of savoy cabbage, the extra crinkliness of it. It really does hold sauce much better than regular cabbage. It was a most enjoyable meal. I suppose we would’ve had it on power failure night if the power hadn’t failed (heh).

Today wasn’t a very productive day. I tried very hard not to but kept falling asleep at my desk. I was a little embarrassed when the new girl in the office, L, came over to ask me if I could help her with her new computer and basically caught me snoozing. I found the missing power cable for her monitor and plugged that in. I swapped over our network cables because hers was too short and mine was conveniently too long. She wasn’t able to log on to the network though, and in the end an IT guy had to come and sort that out (Alas, I don’t have administrative access! Think of the fun I could have!).

Not sure if I will go to uni tomorrow. I can sleep in a little longer if I don’t have to travel to uni, and I really think I need the extra sleep! I might sleep in (till 7!), work on the chapter in the morning and then go to the optometrist in the afternoon – I got an email today saying that the red temples I ordered for my glasses have arrived. I won’t have time to sort that out on Saturday morning as I’ll be having the time of my life at the dentist (*snort*).
