Chinese home delivery
We had chinese home delivery this last week. We rang our usual place but no one answered the phone, so we had to go with our never second choice, which doesn’t do ma po tofu and charges $4 for delivery (our usual place doesn’t charge for delivery). Jac felt like soup and ordered a short soup, which had a lovely flavour. The wantan in the soup was mostly wantan skin – there was probably a little too much wantan skin actually. It was more like a dish of soggy wantan skin served in a little soup.
We also ordered vegetables with cashews. Could’ve been more cashewy but was very tasty nonetheless.
An old favourite of ours, crispy fried chicken with plum sauce.
One of Jac’s favourite dishes to order when we’re having chinese is mongolian lamb:
Of course, we always get fried rice:
My plate, round one. There were two rounds, AND leftovers for the next day.
