Morning tea temptations
One of the best things about working in an office is the occasional indulgent morning tea. The birthday morning tea, the “welcome!” morning tea, the farewell morning tea.
How about this? A glistening berry-crowned cheesecake, almost too beautiful to cut.
Juicy shiny berries fighting gravity, piled on top of soft smooth cheesecake sitting on a crisp biscuit base. Do you push your fork through all three layers to form a perfect, luxurious mouthful, or start by picking berries off the top and popping them into your mouth?
If you prefer tangy to sweet, have a slice of lemon curd tart, bordered with meringue kisses.
And for chocoholics, lamingtons, muffins and cubes of cake studded with choc chips.
Go on, they aren’t very big. Round or cuboid, coconut or crumbs, brown or golden, why not have one of each?
