So, as you’ve probably guessed from the multiple postings tonight, I finished the chapter. Well, it’s sort of finished – I know I will have to go back to it and fix a few um, shortcomings. I emailed it to my supervisor this afternoon, telling her I’d appreciate some suggestions/feedback. It ended up being 43 pages, double-spaced. I feel sorry for her, having to read it. Hah.
I’m not looking forward to the next month or so because I will be flat-out again. My students’ major essay assignment is due at the end of the week, and a couple of weeks later they will be having their examination, and I will have all of those to mark. I’ve received my examination supervisor’s roster, and it looks like I will be supervising mainly alternative exams (these are exams for students with special needs such as students with disabilities or other physical/psychological conditions, who may require the use of a scribe, a computer, extra time or even rest breaks). These can be one-on-one supervisions or two supervisors for half a dozen students, each with their specific needs.
Oh yeah, and to all the people who kindly commented to the Spew forth thy thoughts… post, I’ve replied to your comments here. I’ve also emailed the people who emailed me directly in response to the post too – thank you everyone!
Here’s some unrelated junk food – first: fish and chips with a sea shanty.
Second, another of those double cheeseburgers with bacon from McDonalds:
As I’m going to uni tomorrow and have to get up at 4:30am, it’s just about bed time now and I won’t have time to post tonight’s dinner (the photos are still on the camera). You’ll just have to wait!
