It was TS’s birthday on a couple of Wednesdays ago. We’d chipped in for a present and card. For morning tea, TS brought in a magnificent berry flan from Chez Jean Claude Patisserie.

For lunch, I grabbed takeaway noodles from 88 Royal lunch bar (88a Royal St, East Perth). I’ve had these dry curry fried rice noodles before, and they are always delicious, with barbecue pork pieces, peas, beansprouts and egg. It looks like it was mostly just noodles in this photo, but a lot of the pork pieces were nestled down the bottom, under the pile of noodles. My lunching companions all commented on how good my lunch smelled. :)
