Dinner at Spencer’s

On Wednesday night, Jac whisked me off to Spencer Village for dinner after work.

She’s still very much in a sashimi place and had a salmon sashimi set from the Japanese stall, which came with miso:

The set included the salmon, sushi, vegetable tempura and salad. There was a rather large knob of wasabi next to the salmon – not surprisingly Jac didn’t actually need much of it.

I had the “combination noodles” from Penang Cuisine. They were very saucy, with lots of chicken, BBQ pork and prawns, but I think next time I’m in the mood for noodles, I’ll stick to my usual shortlist of favourites e.g. hokkien mee, char kway teow, char siu wantan mee.
