Bento – panfried salt and pepper chicken with salad
A bento from a few weeks ago! Jac panfried four chicken thigh fillets which she’d simply rubbed in salt and pepper, and I packed us chicken and salad for lunch. The salad consisted of mixed greens, grape tomatoes, cucumber, green beans, mushrooms, sliced sweet gherkin pickles and corn kernels.
I packed Kiri cream cheese in Jac’s lunch box.
In my lunch box, a slice of Jarlsberg cheese, rolled up.
In the bento note I drew for Jac – a thanks for a great weekend of house-hunting, delicious chicken and love (all together now – awwwww! :-P).
As always, I packed Jac a little bread and butter to eat with her chicken and salad. I rarely miss bread, but Jac craves it.
