Workmate J’s birthday slices
It was workmate J’s birthday last month, and we celebrated at work with morning tea. She’d been busy baking and came to work with two different slices.
The first was a chocolate and ricotta slice, topped with chopped hazelnuts.
The second one was a coconut and raspberry jam slice.
What an impossible choice – which to have?! But workmate J solved that dilemma by making enough so that everyone could have one of each – and possibly a second piece of his or her favourite out of the two!
Both slices were moist and simply gorgeous. The chocolate and ricotta one wasn’t as sweet as the coconut and jam one, but both were delicious.
