Having cracked open the tin of turkey SPAM, I just had to use some in fried rice with onion, garlic, crunchy green beans and egg. I flavoured the rice with tamari and black pepper. I don’t think my cooking would ever impress anyone, but I always enjoy eating what I’ve cooked. This to me was pleasure, satisfaction and comfort in a bowl.
