Fruit cake is my weakness!

Tonight for dinner, Jac made me a fish sandwich. She flavoured the fish with lemon pepper and panfried it. With toasted multigrain bread, mayonaise and loads of lettuce, it was a delicious sandwich. I don’t usually have dessert, but Jac brought out a surprise from her backpack: Weston’s Country Style Sultana cake. I really love [&hellip…

My Thursday

I had combination rice for lunch, which is rice, steamed chicken, char siu (chinese barbecue pork) and green vegetables (usually choy sum) served with a small bowl of very tasty chicken broth with sliced spring onion floating in it. Mmmmmmm. I always pour extra soy sauce over the chicken, and it soaks into the rice […]

So so tired

OK, so maybe these 4:30am starts are getting to me. Here was dinner last night, another variation of fried rice, made by Jac. This version has sliced ham, green beans, swiss brown mushrooms and corn kernels. It’s all been flavoured with kecap manis and soy sauce. She made a well in the rice at the […]
