Sunday breakfast fry-up

We had a fantastic fry-up for breakfast last Sunday: bacon, garlic mushrooms, scrambled eggs, spinach and toast. As usual, I had the pleasure of eating the pan-roasted garlic cloves. On one slice of lightly buttered toast I spread kaya, and on the other I spread St Dalfour blueberry with cranberry preserve. Not only did I enjoy the tastes and textures, I really enjoyed the colours.

Jac is now home from her weekend away in Margaret River. I had a surprise for her: I bought us a Nintendo Wii with Wii Fit on Saturday. We’ve been talking about it for ages, and I decided to take the plunge and just get it. Between Wii Sports (tennis is my favourite) and Wii Fit, my muscles are aching, but I feel really great. :-D I’m glad Jac’s home. I had a good weekend on my own but I missed her.

I’m absolutely thrilled – all previous records for “most comments to a post” have been spectacularly shattered! So far, 60 of you have shared tales of exotic and unusual foods you’ve eaten! Thanks, guys! It’s all of you – commenters, readers, lurkers :), lovers of food – who make blogging such a joy for me.
