Lunch at Spencer Village
At a recent lunch at Spencer Village (Spencer Road Shopping Centre, Thornlie) Jac was hoping to get fresh rice paper rolls from the Vietnamese stall, but they were still closed for the holidays. Her next choice was a teriyaki fish salad from the Japanese stall, but it was 11:30am when we got there, and they apparently didn’t open until 12 noon.
I ordered her a serve of of popiah from the Fook Kee stall.
She then got stuck into a bowl of ice kacang purchased from the drinks stall. It was a hot day, and this was very refreshing.
I had a craving for char siu wantan mee, dry style, from the Penang Foods stall. It hit the spot.
