Tuesday food – a bit of everything
Someone brought cinnamon donuts to work, and kindly shared them around…
I had teriyaki fish and rice from Jaws Mint (opposite the Perth Mint) for lunch. As usual, I ignored the pile of pink pickled ginger in the corner. The fish pieces were on the thin side, but still tasty, with caramelised teriyaki saucy edges.
For dinner, Jac made chicken and bean burritos, with lots of fresh tomato and lettuce.
For dessert, she served me sponge cake (bought from Woolworths supermarket) with a layer of kaya in the middle – yum!
