Jac cooked this dinner, of rice with ginger chicken and green vegetables stir-fried with oyster sauce and garlic.
The chicken pieces and carrot slices were tender, the onion sweet. The ginger sauce was delicious. After I took the photo I shifted items around on my plate so the rice could soak up as much of the ginger sauce as possible.
Jac used pak choy and snow peas in the vegie stir-fry. She also did what I tend to do when I cook with garlic – she chopped some of the garlic finely, but left most of it as quite large pieces. Yum!
I didn’t do anything special with the leftovers for bento the next day. I just packed it into our lunch boxes. It tasted great the next day!
