Favourite yummies

Last night, C and I went to see The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. After that we had a tasty food hall dinner. But before I get to that, I have some catching up to do.

Jac grabbed some takeaway from that very same food hall recently. Among the goodies she brought home were these corned beef patties from the Indonesian stall (I think it is called Sarindo) at the food hall. They consist mainly of potato and do not contain much corned beef, but they are really savoury and delicious. I have a feeling the deliciousness has a lot to do with them having been deep-fried.

Here’s the innards shot, showing the minimal corned beef content. But they taste good and I’ve become a little addicted to them.

And this has become my standard meal: chee cheong fun. Jac thinks it’s a bit on the plain side, but I just can’t get enough!
