Meatball and mushroom casserole

This was tonight’s dinner, an original Jac creation she calls “Meatball and mushroom casserole”. No recipe as such – she made the meatballs using lamb mince, onions, garlic, salt and pepper. She used both fresh and tinned sliced mushrooms. The gravy was made with beef stock and powdered gravy. She served the casserole with fluffy mashed potato and steamed cabbage and peas. It was sooo gooood. Real comfort food. It reminded me of IKEA Swedish meatballs, which I really love. I hope to have the leftovers for lunch tomorrow! Meatballs and mushrooms in brown gravy are one of the best combinations, I reckon. Garnish police, take note! :)
