This was a very simple dinner Jac cooked recently – sweet and sour chicken and vegetables, served on rice. The sweet and sour sauce came out of a jar – Kan Tong. Jac used pieces of chicken thigh meat and carrot, cauliflower, green capsicum and onion. I must admit I wasn’t expecting much from this jar of sauce, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was pretty good. I really liked the pieces of pineapple in the sauce. It’s very tomato saucy though, stay away if you don’t really like tomato sauce.
