Chicken and salad
Another meal from a couple of weeks ago: Jac marinated boneless skinless chicken thigh pieces in hoisin sauce and chilli sauce*, then panfried them. She served the chicken with salad – lettuce, red capsicum, grape tomatoes, carrot, green beans, broccoli and hard-boiled egg. She also included some of her brother Brad’s coleslaw, which is made with white and red cabbage.
The chicken was tender and juicy, saucy and tasty.
