If I happen to go to 88 Royal lunch bar (88a Royal St, East Perth) on a Monday I know exactly what I’ll get for lunch. It’ll be their Monday hot food special: honey chicken and fried rice.

The fried rice has barbecue pork, peas, egg, onions and bean sprouts in it. I’ve said before that the honey chicken has recently featured more batter than chicken, but sometimes I’m quite happy to eat sticky syrup-coated golden-brown deep-fried batter. There, I’ve said it. :-P
